Steve will be reposed at Chapey's Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Rd., Bethpage, NY (516) 731-5600 today from 1900 to 2130 hrs. and on Thursday, 11 March 2010 from 1400 to 1630 hrs. and 1900 to 2130 hrs. Mass will be at Saint Martin of Tours Church, 40 Seaman Ave.,Bethpage, NY on Friday, 12 March 2010 at 0945 hrs. Steve qualified on the USS John Marshall (SSBN611) in 1966. His rate was QM2(SS). He was a retired police officer with the New York City Police Dept. and a member of Long Island Base since 1999. Long Island Base will be conducting a memorial service at Chapey's Funeral Home on Thursday, 11 March, at about 2000 hrs. Base members wishing to attend should muster at the funeral home at 1930 hrs.
